The Global Compact on Refugees (GCR) is a groundbreaking initiative that provides a comprehensive framework for sharing responsibility and finding sustainable solutions to refugee situations. At its core, the GCR recognizes that international cooperation is crucial in supporting host communities and ensuring that refugees are able to lead productive and fulfilling lives.
The Challenge
Vardot is proud to have partnered with the GCR team to enhance their online presence and bring their mission to a wider audience. GCR need a complete website redesign with a more consistent and visually appealing branding and theming approach, optimized search functionality. Their requirements included a seamless implementation of Solr search to index thousands of articles and resources with different tags and metadata.
Our Approach
As part of the redesign, we developed a mobile-responsive site that prioritizes accessibility and a better user experience, ensuring that all resources are properly organized and easy to access. We also conducted a full migration of the website's content to make it more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
Successes
